As authors know, the writing process is about so much more than completion. At Monarch Rising, we take a holistic approach, pairing accountability and project management with vision and goal setting, helping you to get the most out of your writing journey. With us, it’s not writing; it’s rising.
With Monarch Rising, authors have routine guided writing sessions with their coach, either virtually or in person. During your writing session, you’ll set writing goals with your coach, discuss potential roadblocks and distractions, and go forth to accomplish your session’s goal. If you get stuck during the session, your coach will be there to get you back on track.
The writing process can be isolating, but Monarch Rising is here to keep you connected. In our virtual or in-person writing groups, authors come together to check in, discuss successes and setbacks, and support one another as they fly toward their goals. Facilitated by a Monarch Rising coach, our writing groups give you a community who cares about your writing and you.
Monarch Rising offers an array of pricing models to meet authors where they are at. We provide individual session prices, monthly rates, semester-bound packages, and other options to best fit your needs and goals.
Accountability coaching is great, but who will read your work as you go? At Monarch Rising, we can pair you with an in-house editor to read your work and provide valuable feedback in real time at a per page rate. We won’t just make sure you get it done; we make sure you get it done well.
Colleen is the highest tier of writing coach but with the approachability of a dear friend. It’s easy to feel self-conscious about my writing, especially in the earliest drafts. Yet, Colleen took the time to listen and to understand my goals. I felt known by her, and my work was just as important to her and it was to me. She was great about creating a timeline and keeping me on schedule.
